Stephanie Gonzalez

As the Instructional Designer, Stephanie primarily provides curricular development expertise and technical support to educational initiatives centered on organ transplant and living donation, but her contribution extends to many other HLM partners and projects.

Stephanie's professional passion is public health. Drawn to health literacy for its intellectual challenge and public impact, Stephanie has found a home here at HLM. As the Instructional Designer, Stephanie provides curricular development expertise and technical support to educational initiatives centered on organ transplant and living donation. This primarily includes our Explore Transplant & Living Donation program, and kidney transplant-related projects, however, she doesn't stop there. Her contribution extends to assessment, content creation, content review, and training delivery for many other HLM partners, projects, and content areas.

Prior to working at HLM, Stephanie taught global history and the history of public health at colleges in New York City and St. Louis. Her background in higher education brings best practices in public engagement and adult education to HLM's educational efforts and health communication materials. Stephanie's dedication to equity and inclusion ensures the production of culturally sensitive materials and diverse representation in public health.

Stephanie holds a doctorate (PhD) in History from The Graduate Center, City University of New York.
