Tamara Whitehorn

Tamara's current role as Operations Assistant at HLM is two-fold. As part of the Clearly Communicating Clinical Trials (C3T) team, she supports HLM's audience testing program. As a part of the Business team Tamara provides assistance with grant management, data evaluation, system development, and coordinating project timelines.

Tamara enjoys community outreach that connects individuals with resources or services that can help make a difference in their lives. Here at HLM that looks like connecting community members with audience testing about health and science materials so their voices can be heard, and needs addressed. The importance of clear health information is what brought Tamara to HLM, but the community outreach, focus on underserved communities, and prioritizing equity, is what really drew her in.

She has also managed federal and private grants — another expertise she brings to our business and program teams.
