Allen Todd

Allen has nearly two decades of experience in relationship development and clear communication through his work at various non-profit, governmental, and political organizations. Before joining HLM, Allen served as Community Engagement and Policy Director for FOCUS St. Louis, a non-profit leadership development organization. Prior to his time with FOCUS, Allen served as the Director of Patient Education & Advocacy for The Global Healthy Living Foundation, a non-profit advocacy organization with the mission to improve the quality of life for people with chronic illness. Before The Global Healthy Living Foundation, Allen served as Director of Policy and Advocacy for The Sheridan Group, a government relations and advocacy firm dedicated to helping non-profits achieve social change. Prior to his tenure at The Sheridan Group, Allen served as the Executive Director of the Missouri Coalition for Lifesaving Cures, a non-profit advocacy organization that promotes medical research and works to protect patients’ access to lifesaving cures.

Allen holds a bachelor's degree in communication from University of Missouri – Columbia. He is a member of numerous boards and committees, including the Finance Advisory Committee for the Webster Groves school district, where his children attend school. Allen is also the Secretary of the Board for Nonprofit Missouri, which promotes the common interests of the state’s more than 30,000 nonprofit organizations.
